The shawl collared blouse takes inspiration from old-world kebayas from as early as the 1920s. At a time of trade and cultural exchange in the Nusantara, kebayas took on interesting garment details while retaining its modest silhouette.

Shawl collars, inspired by blazer lapels are not the only highlights of this blouse. Mandarin button closures add a distinctly Southeast Asian appeal, making this a Studio Gypsied classic. 

Features an attached inner lapel, with extra metal snap buttons to prevent wardrobe mishaps!
