New classics, inspired by old classics. The Kebaya Sofea is our beloved kebaya silhouette updated with an elegant mandarin collar and ribbon tie details. 

Strong shoulders add a unique perspective to an otherwise feminine silhouette. Fitted with a placket and buttons sewn in for added security. Inner wear will not show. A Studio Gypsied original.

Valerie is wearing Small. Her measurements are 33" bust, 25" waist, 33" hips, 162cm.

Tumbuh, meaning to grow, is our studio's first in-house batik motif. Features deep blue ombre cloud motifs hand-painted on an understated terracotta backdrop.

Featuring two signature Javanese batik motifs, the Banji (signifying building foundations) and Megamendung (signifying shelter, protection and abundance), Tumbuh is an ode to our studio’s tenth year, growing from strength to strength since 2013.

Silk screen batik on certified organic OEKO-TEX® certified organic cotton. Unlined. Shell buttons.

Hand wash on cold to retain its colours and beauty. Machine washable in a laundry bag at 30° max on a gentle cycle.
