DESIGNS INSPIRED BY SOUTHEAST ASIA
A passage of time, ancestry and lost kingdoms. Southeast Asia has shaped our studio for more than a decade. This season, discover the region's sartorial sensibilities through our lens.
Art of the Fold
The kain wiron is a defining Javanese garment, brought to our shores through trade, marriage and travel. It is an artisanal tailoring form that requires utmost patience in its craft.
The perfect vertical folds which resemble a fan, hold both philosophical and sartorial sensibility. It expands the wearer’s stride, prioritising comfort while respectfully maintaining her modesty. The Batik Wiron Skirt is frequently kept as an heirloom piece, a treasure to have and to hold.
