Tribhuwana II

$89.00 SGD

Tribhuwana was the Queen of Majapahit who expanded the empire to greatness. She gave birth to Hayam Wuruk the legendary and most notable king after her. There is thus no better motif to depict this powerhouse than the motif of parang boket, with 'boket' referring to a bouquet of flowers. The parang motif is traditionally a symbol of strength, protection and honour. Juxtaposed with the grace of flowers, the Tribhuwana is the metaphor for a woman — femininity is power and a force to be reckoned with.
