  • Fashioned for multiple occasion wear, our signature open jackets are a wardrobe classic that goes beyond seasonal. The Bata Open Jacket is made from a medium-weight cotton that gives it just enough structure for a casual yet considered look.

    To the Javanese the word bata, or bricks, displays the importance of building a foundation, and to the Chinese traders who arrived on the shores of West Java some six centuries ago, it was a symbol of prosperity.


    Features drop shoulders, 7/8 sleeves and two pockets at the front.
  • Hand stamped batik made by a family of artisans in Solo, Central Java. Hand wash on cold to retain its colours and beauty. 

    - Batik is 100% medium-weight cotton 
    - Lining is 100% cotton

  • Designed one size to fit a range of sizes. Recommended for women between UK10-UK16.
