Our signature open jacket has been designed as a statement and season-less addition to the discerning woman's wardrobe. Each piece tells the story of the batik, creating a
meaningful connection between the wearer and the jacket.

The ancient batik motif known as sekar jagad is a masterpiece in its own right. Meaning map of the universe, one can easily see this cartographical resemblance in its pattern. Within each section of the map is contained a different batik motif — teruntum for love, kawung for togetherness and parang for protection, just to name a few.

Kembara meaning to wander, is a call to embrace the experiences life presents, and the calling is rarely found in the destination. May you encounter love, friendship, camaraderie, and humanity in your journey — to fill the map of your universe.

The jacket is fully lined for a luxurious feel, yet lightweight enough for daily wear. Features drop shoulders, two pockets at the front.

  • Featuring hand screen batik on 100% cotton made by a family of artisans in Solo, the undisputed birthplace of batik. Hand screen batik are easy to care for. Machine wash on cold to retain its colours and beauty.
