Our Best Memories of 2016
2016 saw many firsts and unique experiences. We kicked off the year with our first ethical apparel collection, followed by a debut pop-up at Public Garden, and then a wonderful collaboration with a local book subscription box. Here's a quick summary of our best memories of the year.
The First Gypsied Dress

Gaia Dress, $59.90

Casual yet sophisticated, the first Gypsied dress lends an air of simplicity. This piece was the definition of throw it on and go — dressy enough for the office and relaxed enough for the weekends. Not forgetting a touch of traditional textile featuring Balinese inspired ikat, which definitely defined the modern ethnic feel of the collection.
Public Garden
We took part in the esteemed Public Garden this year, an exciting first on our list. The best parts were meeting the people who took time to stop by our booth — old friends and new ones, which undoubtedly filled our little space with conversations, laughter and good company throughout. Seeing the crowd giving our dresses and clutches a try made the experience so much sweeter. Thank you again to all those who came!
Fashion Revolution & #WhoMadeMyClothes
A critical juncture in our journey this year was the question: How do we approach the production process more consciously and transparently? Taking a keen interest in Fashion Revolution became our guide. Seen here is Ibu Ketut in her workshop in Indonesia. She is the one behind the production of our apparel collection.

Carpe Librum Ikat Bookmarks
In collaboration with Carpe Librum's Singapore themed box in August, we made an exclusive bookmark from fairtrade ikat textile originating from Nusa Penida. We mark this project as a favourite because we are secretly geeks and books are our ever after companions.
